UK based producer & DJ Josh Hunter releases his debut EP on emerging Liverpool based label, Duotone. ‘Club Toolkit’ is a selection of carefully crafted club tracks each with its own blend of chicago house sounds.
Josh Hunter gained support in 2017 after releasing his remix of ‘Cola’, which secured him the UK number one spot on DJCity, plays on Radio 1, Radio 1 Xtra and Kiss FM, and also support from James Hype, Blonde & Nathan Dawe. He continued to release remixes throughout the year each time refining his sound and building a reputation for delivering powerful club ready dance tracks.
Early support for the EP’s lead track ‘That House Vibe’ includes plays from Stonebridge, Apres and also Nora En Pure who included it in her Ultra Music Festival set in Miami earlier this year. The EP is a hint of things to come from this young producer who is set to make huge moves in 2018.
Panamanian DJ Gian Varela is excited to unleash his festival-ready peak time banger BOUNCE TO MY FACE. This release has a rich history preceding it. From touring with the world’s most famous DJs and curating his own festivals, to topping the pop charts in his native Panama: he is an artist devoted to lift people up with his art.
The son of two parents with strong ties to the entertainment industry, it was inevitable young Gian would explore a similar career as well. Starting professionally as a DJ at the age of 15, before long he was the opening act for DJ Tiesto. Later on he toured the entire American continent with the biggest stars of dance music such as David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell Ingrosso, Chuckie, Paul Oakenfold and many more.
Gian has enjoyed massive success nationally collaborating with some of the most popular artists in Latin music. Yet, he feels he’s ready to showcase another side of him: his unique festival sound. A sound that is also laced with the Latin influence he loves so much.
GIAN VARELA: “This track is my first single showcasing my festival repertoire. It represents my energy on stage! I’ve been a producer for 6 years, but I’ve only released music for 1 year. Bounce To My Face fuses certain latin influences which characterize the “Dembow” movement which originated from my country Panama – with more Progressive sounds.”
Gian produced the track in his home studio last February right before the Panamanian Carnivals commenced. He was happy to see the positive reaction from the massive crowds when he played it on stage for the first time. Coming from a country where Reggaeton reigns, everyone went wild on this pure EDM track.
GIAN VARELA: “I’ve always been in love with the entertainment world. Especially the dance music scene and now more than ever I believe fusions are the way to go and I couldn’t be more excited to showcase what I’m working on with Latin music and dance music. It is tricky at some points because the dance music world doesn’t always understand the Latin music world, and the Latin music world much less understands the dance music world. Still, I want to combine the two. Very similar to what Dj Snake and Major Lazer have done with their music on the radio-friendly side of it. Then on the festival side, I want no limits. I want to do whatever I want with the festival repertoire.”

The Moscow electronic project INVRS, also known for the recording studio and production company of the same name, launches its own imprint called INVRS UNVRS. The whole essence of the "inverted universe" is reflected in the first label’s release.
The debut single of the label is the own brothers’ composition - "Drifting". The track has already been supported by many artists around the world; the premiere in the Russian FM range took place a week earlier on DFM radio, #1 national dance radio.
The composition is distinguished by a unique author's style, that comprises mixing trends and styles of dance electronic music. It’s impossible to determine the exact genre of the tune, whether it's melodic Deep House, Future-direction of progressive music or, generally, light vocal European Trance? That was confirmed by the support in the shows and performances of DJs working in various genres. At that, "Drifting" does not sound like a studio experiment or another musical technologies parade, but, on the contrary, it has much needed melodic, musicality and inspirational vocals.
“Drifting” entered Top-50 most playing newcomers by 1001tracklists.com by the release date.
The electronic project INVRS is the new alias of the well-known EDM-duo Sour'n'Sweet Music. Brothers’ production has repeatedly stormed the music charts and regularly received support from the well-known electronic scene stars. The guys twice in a row became finalists of "Be The DJ" (international competition from Ferry Corsten and Steve Aoki), compelling attention of the press and industry experts.
A 174bpm take on the 1996 track "Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo, the video features the Trashcan-inhabiting green wonder that is "Oscar the Grouch", everyone's favourite Muppet "Animal" on the drums alongside the original funky drummer Clyde Stubblefield, John Bonham, Buddy Rich and Freschezza himself. The frenetic video also features archive footage of many of the legends of the original Drum and Bass scene, interspliced with yet more Muppets, some weird dancing girls, 1990s ravers and Mike Freschezza playing a mini Sampling keyboard while driving a pickup truck. Seriously.

Davi Hemann has a habit of finding classic tunes and adding his own special spin to them. The latest track to have the remix treatment is Flo Rida and T-Pain’s ‘Low’. The 17 year old has come on in blistering form this year, releasing original tracks such as ‘Alone’ with IrriX and ‘Blackjack’ released on Spinnup.
Davi’s background in music is evident in this latest track, with big bass and potent lead synths prowling in the beat. He keeps the addictive elements of the original and adds his own special elements that he has honed over his years of production. Big Room drums and Electro House synths are his forte, sitting perfectly alongside the vocals we have all come to know and love since this tune was first popular. As he has done with remixes before, he has created a certified club ready anthem which will attract listeners of pop music but also his own brand of forward thinking EDM.
With a growing catalogue of releases under his belt, and a view to play even more shows over the coming months, this boy keeps delivering and showing the world what he’s made of.
Releasing on Deep House Brasil as a free download, Davi has embraced his local and national Bass music scene with his focus on Brasil Bass. Available now, go and check out this absolute banger and support the artist too.

Nearly a year since releasing his much loved debut single ‘Another Love’ , Melbourne based Electronic, Soul, R&B artist Blasko returns with his forthcoming mixtape ‘Blasko In Love Pt.1’. In the lead up to the release, Majestic Casual Records presents the first single ‘Ms Love’, released in May 11th.
Blasko has seen a quick rise in praise for his music, with 2017 highlights including reaching just shy of one millions streams on his debut single, getting airplay on BBC Radio 6, appearing on charts across the world, and prime positions on Spotify Viral Charts in France, Australia, Netherlands and Germany. He’s also been gracing stages with his energetic live performances at top Australian festival Laneway, alongside Billy Davis and The Good Lords, as well as hitting the stage with Goldlink at his sold out Melbourne show. This year is promising to be his busiest yet, with his debut mixtape release as well as shows in Germany and France in May and June 2018.
‘Blasko In Love Pt. 1’ is the first steps into Blasko’s world… it’s dark, it’s purple, it’s lazy and it’s whatever you want it to be.
"'Ms. Love' represents a time in my life where I had no limitations and I didn’t say no to many things. One night Tentendo was at my house and we were listening to Masegos EP with Medasin "Pink Polo" which is absolute fire (Shutup and Groove being my fav tune) and we got to "Girls that dance" immediately sharing one of those.. "eyyy..we needa make something like this".. so next thing, we wrote what we call today… 'Ms Love'" - Blasko
“Small Talk” is produced and co-written by Grammy Award-winner, Skidd Mills as well as Independent Music Award winner Billy Dawson. According to a recent review, “Small Talk” is nearly led by the beats of the drums, providing Juliana with a unique platform to really create the rhythm & melody we hear with the movement in her vocals. She’s got that Florence Welch kind of sound working in her favor in her vocals, with what’s nearly like a Rihanna-esque set of ideas for the songwriting & rhythmic style that “Small Talk” has. In any event, there’s no question about the relevance of a sound like this for what’s happening out there in music today – “Small Talk” stands a massive chance of catching the ears of a huge audience out there."
Initially hailing from Laguna Hills, CA, Hale’s parents moved the family to Nashville when Hale was 10 years old to help their daughter pursue her dream. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Hale began playing guitar and writing songs in fourth grade. She’s since added piano as well as ukulele, bass, and flute to her instrumental repertoire. Describing her music as “unique indie pop with a clean and empowering message,” the intense songwriter has over 1,000 songs in her catalog.
Hale released her first EP, Dance in the Rain, when she was just 14 years old; however, health issues affecting Hale’s voice arose soon afterward and her dreams were temporarily put on hold. During this time, the young singer spent countless hours with vocal coaches, reclaiming her voice. This period in Hale’s life has had a significant impact on her writing and her musical journey.
The hard work paid off: Hale was invited to perform at the 2018 Leather & Laces Super Bowl Pre-Party hosted by Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, performing alongside Flo Rida, Brandi Cyrus, and DJ Automatic. She also got the opportunity to perform at Number Fest alongside Marshmello and Lil Uzi Vert. The young star-in-the-making is looking ahead to crisscrossing the U.S. on tour as she supports EP, Small Talk, in 2018.
