Talking about your recent release "Wandering Stars" ft. Matthew Steeper, can you tell us more about this collaboration?
We are 2 artists from Lima - Peru, we actually meet on a couple of festivals during 2017 as we got the chance to share Stage, that led to us to talk about sending some ideas over. And as a result we ended up working on the studio in Amsterdam during the ADE week, we have a good chemistry and we worked around 3 tracks and Wandering stars being a result of one of those. And we cant be more proud of it, Wandering stars is very special song to us and of course our first collaboration.
As artist, what do you want to tell to world with your music? Where do you take your inspiration from?
As an artist, I always like to reflect my own feeling, each piece melody created, word and sound has an special meaning for me. I always take inspiration from the songs i currently like at the moment, no matter the style. Aswell as a huge source of inspiration are past memories and current thoughts that goes throughout my head.
I mainly try to tell stories with every song i make, capturing a special background story and certain feeling depending on the mood i am.
With inspiration, it could be really anything that triggers the “switch” from going out to for a walk to watching movies.
If you would choose up to 5 songs, which track would you play most in your recent sets?
If I have to choose 5 songs, they could be: my single “Living In The Clouds” with Aviux and GraceAnne, “Ciao” by Merk & Kremont, my single “Wandering Stars” with Dzasko and Matthew Steeper, “Cocobolo” by Flaremode and finally, my official remix to “Remember Me” by King Lotus. Of all those, “Living In The Clouds” it’s the most played track by me.
My top 5 songs at the moment are:
1. Mauro Ferdinand & Dzasko - Wandering Stars
2. Troiboy - Grimey
3. Louis the Child - Last To Leave
4. Remedy - Home
5. Seven Wonders - Fleetwood mac
