Passionate about magic and music, the 22 year-old producer from
Brussels wanted a name that encompassed both.
Music has always been a big part of his life, ever since he began
playing the piano at a young age. This is what drove him to start
producing electronic music and pushed him to pursue his dream of doing
A year ago, this dream came true and he signed his first single on
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s label, Smash The House. His single «
Sunset » featuring the Australian singer Emma Carn went to #2 in
Belgium and its amazing music video went viral.
He released two official remixes for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and one
for Diplo’s latest hit « Hey Baby » together with Dimitri Vegas &
His second single « Let The Song Play » together with MATTN and

more than 3,5 million streams.
After playing at Tomorrowland with a MainStage performance, Ushuaia
Ibiza, Creamfields, Amnesia Ibiza last year, and 2 shows in a sold out
Sportpaleis (Antwerp) more recently, more magic is to come.
During his last semester at University in Brussels in Business &
Economics, Magic Wand met the rapper Oodorii San with whom he began
his new single Baby I Do and it is a bit later that they will finalise
that track with their good friend Ella Blue.
Please talk about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.
A few days ago I released my 3rd single, called « Baby I Do » with 2 singers from Brussels. The story is quite funny because it began after an exam on the football court of my university, Audry aka Oodorii San is studying Business & Economics with me in Brussels and he asked me if I could send him some instrumentals so he could try something out. After a few days he sent me back something which was really cool but I felt we were missing something, it was a bit too « rap » for me so I asked to an old friend of mine, Audrey aka Ella Blue if she was interested to sing the chorus, she accepted the challenge and again a few days later she sent me this catchy chorus. After that we met together, we did a few studio session and that's how the project was born. I decided to release that single without any label as it was very different from my 2 other singles and it didn't really fit in an electronic label, so we're now working ourselves on the promo and we have some very exciting news coming soon !
What do you feel has been your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement...it's hard to say because I still have so many things to achieve, it's the very beginning for me and I'm still exploring this industry but this summer was quite exciting! I had the chance to play in really cool venus and with big artists, I played a few times at Ushuaia Ibiza for the new Garden of Madness by Tomorrowland, I also played at Via Notte in Corsica with DJ Snake & Malaa, at Tomorrowland as well. But one of my favorite gig this summer was The Ark, it's a new festival on a boat, it's a bit more underground but I had the chance to play on the MainStage and it was an amazing experience, the vibe was really cool, I hope to be back this year!
What about your future projects?
I'm finishing my bachelor in Business & Economics in one week so I have been quite busy with this but I have a lot of exciting projects coming up soon, firstly I'm working a lot on the promo of my new single Baby I Do and I hope you'll hear about it soon but I'm also working on a lot of new music of course. I have a few shows in the French Alps in January, it'll be my first time playing in the mountains, I'm excited !
What do you think about Tomorrowland? And what about your set there?
Tomorrowland is something you have to do at least once in your life, it's really different from every other festivals I did. It's really an experience, it's like if you're in another world for a few days, everything looks beautiful. I had the chance to play 2 sets this year on 2 different stages but also I did an appearance on the MainStage to play my single « Let The Song Play » with MATTN which was an experience I'll probably never forget. The view from the stage is quite cool haha !
Any advice for the youngest producers and DJs who wants to build a new career?
I'll probably say the most basic advice on earth but « never give up », the only way to reach your dream is to work, and it's a hard work but the satisfaction when you reach something is even bigger. There are so many DJ's & producers today, but the most important is not to be on the biggest stage in the world, try to do what you love, try to share your passion for music with your friends, and maybe one day something will happen, someone will notice you and will notice your talent.
Please say something for your fans in ASIA.
It's been a long time I haven't been in Asia actually and I would really love to come back but this time not as a tourist, I really hope to have a tour planned there soon to share my music with you all.
