Carlo Grieco and Peppe Folliero, also knows as Daddy's Groove, accepted our invite and now they are officially our DJ Mag Asian Ambassadors!
The Daddy’s Groove sound waves between house and electro, confirming them as an absolute market music mover.
Their highlight spots can be stretched in a bunch of goals that sustain their solid of work over the years:
How did everything started?
Everything started few years ago, we did a remix of "Leave the world behind - Swedish House Mafia" and Axwell was very impressed for the quality of the sound, He come to our studio to meet us and we started to work with him to some releases. We did a track called "Stellar" on Spinnin and our career started.
What's the feeling to work with artists like David Guetta and Bob Sinclar?
We work with David since 2012 and we learned a lot from him, we met a lot of incredible artists in the studio during these years and we did also gigs around the world having the chance to learn how to handle a party.
What do you think about EDM right now?
If we thing at EDM as the typical Dutch sound i think it's a little bit over, now the house and groove sound is more cool and also in Asia they love it a lot.
What about your next releases?
We have some releases coming and as i told you before these releases are more in the house and groovy sound.
How do you prepare your live set?
I always look at the most important charts and i also listen all the demo that i receive from other producers all over the world and all the promo from the most important labels, although everything may vary based on the "vibe" of the party/event!
Do you feel excited to be an official DJ Mag Asian Ambassador?
Of course i feel super excited, it means a lot for me! i really love Asia, i love the food, the people and the culture over there.
What do you think about the Asian market?
It's the most important market for me at the moment, it looks like years ago in Europe. They have so much fun during the parties, and this is the most important think for all the dj's.
Please give few advices to the up and coming DJs and Producers
The most important think is to enjoy when they are in the studio, never think about touring and money is the only way to do this job, they should focus on the productions trying to have a more original and fresh sound.
Leave a message for your Asian fans
I'm touring a lot in Asia and everywhere was sold out, so i wanna thx all the fans for the super warm welcome everytime i am in their country, and we will do our best to make the best music and dj set for you guys!
